Zsa Zsa's husband says he's baby's dad

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband said Friday that he had a decadelong affair with Anna Nicole Smith and became the third man to publicly claim he may be her infant daughter's father.

The claim by Prince Frederic von Anhalt comes amid a paternity suit over Smith's 5-month-old daughter, Dannielynn. The birth certificate lists Dannielynn's father as attorney Howard K. Stern, but former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead is waging a legal challenge, saying he is the father.

The 39-year-old former Playboy playmate and reality TV show star died in Florida on Thursday. Dr. Joshua Perper, Broward County medical examiner, said an autopsy did not reveal a cause of death and it would take up to five weeks to complete an investigation.

A judge on Friday refused to order an emergency DNA test on Smith's body as part of a paternity suit involving Dannielynn, but he ordered that the body be preserved until a hearing in 10 days, attorneys said.

Father gets scare when bus leaves his children behind

A pleasure ride to check out Lane Transit District's new rapid transit bus ended with a mad dash down East 11th Avenue for Craig Parsons, whose two young children were left behind at a campus area station during Monday's rush hour.

What was even more surprising to Parsons was that the EmX driver would not pull over, despite the cries of nearly everyone on board the bus.

"The driver kept repeating, `The doors close, and the bus goes,' " said Parsons, who said he began shouting the instant the driver closed the doors at the EmX Hilyard Station. "And I just kept saying, `But you've got to stop the bus, there's a 2-year-old back there!' "

Parsons, an associate professor of political science at the University of Oregon; his 2-year-old daughter, Margaux; and his 5-year-old son, Tor, were riding the EmX bus for the first time, as a treat for Tor, who loves trains and buses.

14-year-old held in death of baby cousin

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston authorities have detained a 14-year-old boy accused in the fatal beating of a two-year-old cousin he was baby-sitting.

Paramedics found injured Daveon Adams at a home where he and four other young children were under the care of the 14-year-old on Wednesday. Daveon died Thursday at a hospital.

Police say the teenage baby sitter admitted to investigators that he struck Daveon. He currently faces injury to a child charges in the Harris County juvenile court system.

Texas Department of Children's Protective Services spokeswoman Estella Olguin says Daveon and his 3-year-old brother were placed in the care of their aunt and uncle because of their mother's drug use.

The couple already had seven children, but CPS determined the family could handle the two cousins.

The tribe and the city are a "true partnership," said Oden. When the paramedics, fire and police departments arrive, it's possible because of the partnership, he said.

"There are few Native American tribes who share the tribal-municipal relationship we experience," he said.

On parking

The city owns several parking lots, but there is still not enough space to accommodate all the needs of downtown patrons, said Oden. He's proposing to the city council a "pay-for-parking" program that could entail new underground and above ground parking structures where the public would pay up to $5.

With continued restaurant, retail and condo growth, "where are people going to park?" he asked after the speech. Trams might be one way to get people around, he added.

"People will only drive around 20 to 30 minutes to look for a spot," he said after the speech.

Cinema: Love rocks... and love stinks
